Do you have Hotshot Shield by anchorfree.com installed?

What you are going to do is a registry edit.  If you follow the instructions exactly there will be no problems.  But you should be aware that an error in this type of process can render the computer inoperable.  If you are uncomfortable with this you can back up the registry prior to doing this edit.

How to backup Your Registry with ERUNT

*Please download Erunt.

*For version with the Installer:  Use the setup program to install ERUNT on your computer.

*For the zipped version you will need a program like 7-Zip to unzip the file.

*Unzip all the files into a folder of your choice.

Click Erunt.exe to backup your registry to the folder of your choice.

Note: [i]to restore your registry, go to the folder and start ERUNT.exe

Click on the Start orb and then type regedit in the Search programs and files box.

Programs will appear in the window above the Search box, below that you will see msconfig.  Right click on msconfig and choose Run as administrator

When the registry opens click on Edit, then click on Find.  In the box  that opens copy and then paste openvpntray.exe in the Find what box, then click on Find next.

If you find it click on it, then click on Edit, then Delete.

Close the registry.
