Internet Explorer crashes

Every time I attempt to open Microsoft Internet Explorer Browser It crashes.  The web site opens then immediately Internet Explorer stops functioning.  I have spent over 3 hours on the telephone with Avast.  They have not been able to resolve the issue.  The [problem started when I downloaded Avast Internet program.  :smash:  :killcomp:

Are you using IE11? A lot of users have been having trouble with it. The recommended action is to roll back to IE10.
