Hello everyone.

I am having a very annoying issue with my internet speed ever since I re-installed windows 8 then upgraded to 8.1, everyone else in the household gets up to 25-30mbps, while my speed can go from 15mbps to a measly 1mbps, is there anything I can do to fix this? I really don't want to re-install windows again.

Comp specs are:

Toshiba Satellite c855d-s5305

1.65ghz

8GB of ram(originally 4 upgraded to 8 recently)

750GB HDD(also upgraded from a 320GB hence why I re-installed windows)

Internet service provider is Comcast.

Please help me  :(.

Managed to fix the issue.

I had to use the Toshiba Service Station to get the actual update for win 8.1 compatibility.
