Hey guys a bit of an issue here. But when i try to run TechnicLauncher or Minecraft the javaw process starts for like 1 second, then closes itself. Does anyone know a fix for this? I tried using compatibility settings for Vista SP2 and that made it load but I can't play servers if I do this (which is my goal).

I've tried reinstalling java both 32 and 64 bit, and it didn't help at all.

I don't play games, so I'll ask a question. Do you think it would help if you did updates

for Real Player and Windows Media Player ? I know without Real Player some videos

won't play. You can also check for codex downloads.
