Hi, I have an Acer Iconia W3 tablet (wifes Xmas prezzie) and I have a query. It is the 32GB model but according to the tablet it only has 7.33GB space free from 28.4GB. I know the 3.6GB is the OS etc - can anyone tell me why I have so little space free? What should I be checking etc? Nothing has been transferred or downloaded yet. Thanks for any help and advice. Garry.

You would have to find out what is reserving or using all of that extra space, by downloading a compatible utility.

Here is Cnet's take on that tablet. http://reviews.cnet.com/tablets/acer-iconia-w3-64gb/4505-3126_7-35781405.html#! Techradar.Com'shttp://www.techradar.com/reviews/pc-mac/tablets/acer-iconia-w3-1156426/review

Not getting many good reviews on Amazonhttp://www.amazon.com/Acer-Iconia-W3-810-1600-8-1-Inch-Tablet/product-reviews/B00CM1BN5G/ref=cm_cr_pr_top_recent?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=0&sortBy=bySubmissionDateDescending

Personally a little overpriced. I would return it and get her either a good Android tablet or iPad.

That is nothing more than a phone turned into a tablet, with a whole lot of limitations.

Thanks Greg. Any recommendations re: a different tablet (not iPad)? Thanks very much. Garry.
