When asked to enter password in terminal my keyboard does not work. It works fine while entering command. I tried to search Mint forums but found nothing. Forgive me if the answer is simple but I am a rookie. I am using Mint 15. Thanks in advance.

It's normal for terminal not to show the password or even acknowledge keystrokes as you're typing it.  But if you enter your password and press enter it should work...
