I'm running XP professional with SP2. Lately, after starting IE6 with only 1 window open I go back to the task list and find two or more versions of IEXPLORE.exe running and they all have different sizes. Also, after shutting down IE6, I'll go back to the task list and find that an IEXPLORE.exe is still running in the
task list. Norton's antivirus scans come up clean. Any clues as to what is going on?

What's in the windows? Are you running spyware and antivirus protection?
