I've tried the official tutorial and one of the steps didn't work. I went to run and typed in "C:\Program Files\SurfSideKick 3\Ssk.exe /u "but it says it doesn't exist. I tried following a couple of the other threads about Surf Sidekick but it hasn't helped thus far. I've also tried Ewido with no success. (In both safe and non-safe mode) It won't ever finish removing the files so I can't save the report. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!

Hello,

The command didn't work because you used the quotes around the command in a wrong way.

It should be next command, so better copy and paste the command below in start > run:

"C:\Program Files\SurfSideKick 3\Ssk.exe" /u

Don't forget to reboot afterwards!

If that didn't work, look in your add/remove programs list if surfsidekick is present and uninstall it. But I guess that one won't be present anymore, since Ewido already removes this uninstall entry.

Let me know if that worked and post a new hijackthislog in your next reply.
