I researched this via google and came upon a solution from this forum:

Green double underlined pop-up ads

However when i went through the three steps the fix for me was unsuccessful, however I'll admit there was a step that I was confused with.

In one of the steps below where it says "Check off the element(s) you wish to keep"  I have to admit I left all the boxes checked and did not uncheck any so i may have not removed the problem.

Any suggestions or advice on how I should either retry this or look for another solution?

Thanks you.
