Hello all,

My computer is about a year old. It is running XP Pro SP2 with the latest microsoft patches. I have zonealarm internet security suite from Zonelabs. This computer is used primarily for running two applications.
About two weeks ago, whenever I launch IE 6, the computer freezes and i need to power off and power on the computer. The computer will run as long as i don't launch IE. (internet connection is TimeWarner Roadrunner cable modem with a linksys router)
I have updated the BIOS, firmware and drivers for the computer and the peripherals that are attached. I brought the computer down to minimum configuration, no peripherals attached,no network attached (tried dial-up). Even when I disconnect the computer from the network, i launch IE the computer will freeze.
Memory have been upgrade to 1GB. and have de-install the applications. Still same problem. I have rolled the OS back and still the same.
Hopefully, I have not left any important info. I am at my wits' end. I checked with the computer company to query their support database and could not find anything. I have three other computers with no issues.
Tonight I am going to boot up in safemode.
Thanks for you help.
