I have a HP nc8230 (p/n 2426ua#aba) that will not turn on.

This computer is running XP with all updates.

When power button is pressed I get six (6) flashes from the amber led on the front of the laptop.

After an web search it might be a BIOS problem.

Any ideas or help on diagnosis and/or repair would be much appreciated.
