None of the browsers will finish downloading. Even trying to update Malware or Symantec, won't work.

Even trying to download Chrome, nothing.

Always get's to the end .. around 99% then say's can't download.

Does anyone know where I can get a up-to-date, mbam-rules?

I work on PC's for a living, but this is killing me.

Tried systems restores, tried dumbing down IE, tried TDSkiller, tried reseting winsock crap, safe mode with networking doesn't change anything.

Just don't want to re install Windows and things.

Thank you in advance.

How To Manually Download Definition Updates For Malwarebytes Anti-Malware

Malwarebytes also provides instructions to manually update the database in FAQ Section A.4. Issues. They include a direct download link for mbam-rules.exe. Save that file to your Desktop and then double-click on it to install.

Note: Starting with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.60, you must also copy the file database.conf located within the Configuration folder which is in the same folder as rules.ref.

MajorGeeks also hosts a downloadable version of mbam-rules.exe which is updated frequently...just double-click on the file to install.

I will try that on a different machine. Then move it to a flash drive.

Thank you very much.

Will post how things go.
