Whenever I boot into my windows 7 partition and the wired connection isnt working from the get go, nothing seems to fix it. I'm getting pretty tired of having to completely restart just to get the internet up and running. What could be causing this?

I went into device manager and turned off the power saving function (what the hell, microsoft?), but now it just saying "Identifying" under active networks and still wont connect.
