Hi, recently i've been getting these damned ads (I'm using google chrome)
So.. I may have downloaded this thing called Dolphin, this is a emulator for gamecube games and I downloaded about 6 gamecube games. I was thinking this was the reason I was infected.
Here are my symptoms:
I open up google chrome and when i'm browsing this random thing keeps coming up on my screen

Here is a picture: http://postimg.org/image/4wsib8agj/

I also get these random websites when I click links this doesn't happen all the time but frequently.
I have a link to one of them but I will not post it. Unless you guys need it.

Okay so thats pretty much all of I've noticed. I'm really getting scared that this might get worse. I've used MBAM (Malwarebytes) and still have not gotten rid of this thing. So if anyone could help that would be much appreciated! :D

Edit: I also just notice every few seconds MBAM will pop up saying it's blocked a potential threat from google chrome.
And there are these annoying green things over certain words here is a picture of that:

I figured it out! For some reason (I'm using google chrome) in the extensions manager there is this thing called suirf aand keEEp 2.19 I don't know how the hell that got in there but I disabled that and reloaded the webpage and all the green words and all the popup ads are gone! That's the fix! Please tell me if you see this suirf aand keEEp 2.19 too. Because when I disabled that it all the ad's were removed.

For firefox click the tab called "firefox" in the top left corner click on that. A little drop down menu will appear on the right side there will be a thing called "add-ons" with picture of a puzzle piece click this (Also you can do CTRL+SHIFT+A) ;  then on the left side there will be a thing called "extensions"  in there you will find your extensions!

Please note after finding this instead of reading my last post do this instead!

Step 1: In your browser extension or add ons there will something that doesn't look like it should be there. It will have a keyword like Keeper or something close to it.

  • If so immediately remove the extension and restart the browser.
  • If you did this correctly there should not be anymore annoying pop up ads
  • If so, please do step 2 to insure that this will not happen again.

Step 2:

ADW Cleaner

Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode onto your desktop.

  • Close all open programs and internet browsers.
  • Double click on adwcleaner.exe to run the tool.
  • Please note it will select some files. Before clicking "clean" make sure to browse through the selected files and make sure there is nothing there checked that you don't want removed.
  • Click on Clean.
  • Confirm each time with Ok.
  • You will be prompted to restart your computer. A text file will open after the restart.
  • Please post the contents of that log file with your next reply.
  • You can find the log file at C:\AdwCleaner[S1].txt as well.

Yes, copy/paste results.

After adware cleaner you will need to run...

thisisujrt.gif Please download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.
  • Shut down your protection software now to avoid potential conflicts.
  • Run the tool by double-clicking it. If you are using Windows Vista, 7, or 8; instead of double-clicking, right-mouse click JRT.exe and select "Run as Administrator".
  • The tool will open and start scanning your system.
  • Please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications.
  • On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
  • Post the contents of JRT.txt into your next message.
  • .
    .
    .
    .
  • Last run ESET.
  • Hold down Control and click on this link to open ESET OnlineScan in a new window.
  • Click the esetonlinebtn.png button.
  • For alternate browsers only: (Microsoft Internet Explorer users can skip these steps)
  • Click on esetsmartinstaller_enu.exe to download the ESET Smart Installer. Save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on the esetsmartinstaller_enu.png icon on your desktop.
  • Check "YES, I accept the Terms of Use."
  • Click the Start button.
  • Accept any security warnings from your browser.
  • Under scan settings, check "Scan Archives" and "Remove found threats"
  • Click Advanced settings and select the following:
  • Scan potentially unwanted applications
  • Scan for potentially unsafe applications
  • Enable Anti-Stealth technology
  • ESET will then download updates for itself, install itself, and begin scanning your computer. Please be patient as this can take some time.
  • When the scan completes, click List Threats
  • Click Export, and save the file to your desktop using a unique name, such as ESETScan. Include the contents of this report in your next reply.
  • Click the Back button.
  • Click the Finish button.
  • NOTE:Sometimes if ESET finds no infections it will not create a log.
