hey guys steam wont download any of my games when i start a download it downloads at about 100kb/s and then drops down to 0 bytes per second indefinitely, i have tried reinstalling my os (windows 7), re installing steam, changing my steam server region, renaming the .gui file and creating a new steam library. none of these things work and my issue still persists, it is getting quite annoying as i have just bought this new gaming pc and i cannot play any games, it must be my pc as on my brothers laptop games were dowloading fine at 2 mb/s also on my pc i can download any games off of origin fine at a steady 1.7 mb/s i really dont know what to do please help!!!

Sounds liek a setting in steam its self, you sure you have enough HDD room for the game? make sure you also dont have a firewall blocking its communication with Akamai DOT com as they distribute a large portion of internet data.
