whenever I try to play a video or song with windows media player I get this error pretty much immediately:

I've tried a bunch of things that claim to fix it and none of them have worked, such as:
Uninstalling and Reinstalling WMP
Inputting several commands into the cmd prompt: "regsvr32 jscript" (And one that looked similar to this)
I went to the WMP root files and moved them, no luck.

Please somebody help, this problem appeared literally out of nowhere and I have no idea why or how to fix it.

Most of these I've tried, I'll make sure to attempt all of them and then post back

The error message indicates itunes as a possible source. Have you tried to uninstall itunes and see if the problem is solved? It could be a conflict in versions of the two that just reinstalling itunes may help. I hav eboth, itunes only because I have an iphone but I haven't had problems (knock on wood) yet but you never know.

I don't think its an iTunes thing. All of my music is just stored in the itunes archives. I'll try updating my itunes though.

I just decided to get rid of WMP and made every media format default to VLC. Thanks for the help though.
