The first thing to check for is overheating. If you need a recommendation of software for doing that....Download SpeedFan - Access temperature sensor in your computer

Best to check temps after comp has been in use at least an hour or more or while playing a video.

Please...do not do this, the previous suggestions are OK.

This suggestion above conflicts with the following policy here at BC:  Recommending ISOs of Windows Recovery Discs or pre-made ISOs of WinPE-BartPE - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic382841.html .

Robert, would you clarify something for me for no other reason than I'm curious - not smart enough to help.  In your initial posting you said you had Windows XP, but your Minitoolbox read out said Windows 7 Home Premium.  Am I missing something?  As I said, just curious.  Wish I could help,  but I need BC too.

On the surface...I see no reason for this system to be experiencing problems with freezes, after reviewing the Speccy data.  No indication of hard drive problems...no indication of CPU overheating...no registry cleaners, no multiple AV programs.

Looking at the MiniToolBox data...you have connection problems...you seem to have MS.NET problems....you've run malware neutralization software which is now removed.

You have torrent programs installed...the use of which can increase system vulnerability to malware.

Questionable (IMO) apps:  Jet Boost, Ace Stream Media, Bit Torrent, Stream Torrent.

Although developers say that it's complementary with AV...I would uninstall Trusteer Rapport and see how the system behaves.

I have no clear direction to indicate...I would initiate a post in the Am I Infected forum, just for peace of mind.
