I started the thread below early on after building this PC.  The continual random freezing has ceased.

I am getting freezes when I try to run backup of HD.   I gave up on the Windows back up and have run a successful backup with Macrium Reflect.  The MR is a scheduled BU and it hasn't run again yet so I'm not sure what it will do next time.   I had Syncback recommended to me a while back and really like it due to the fact that I can back up actual files with enough storage space that I can open without doing a restore.  I have successfully backed up my documents and my photos but the full backup will not complete without freezing the machine.  I bought a new Seagate drive for doing these backups.  I ran the three programs suggested in the above thread.  The only thing I notice is in the new external drive temperature shows 53° and the range is 50-55°.  Is this a problem?  I can post the three results if anyone cares to look.

Here is the Speccy link showing the temp of the new hard drive.  http://speccy.piriform.com/results/MbZZwMvaJPROPaGsyWlYOBy

Thanks for any help/insight.
