External CD-rom support?

I've installed W98 On a old rig that has no CD-Drive,And i want to install some games via a USB-CD rom But it doesn't recognize it. (w98 se)

You are probably going to need the drivers if it is for WIN98Se. What is the manufacturer of the CD rom drive and does it show a model number?
