One of our computers was purchased with Windows Vista and at the time, it was very close to the time when Windows 7 was due to come out. Part of the deal was that when Windows 7 did arrive I would be given the upgrade free and that happened. The other computer we own has Windows Vista and is older than the one I spoke of previously. The question is; can I download the windows 7 upgrade option to download on the older computer with Vista. Thank You.

The best thing to do is download the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor -http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/windows/downloads/upgrade-advisor - and run it. That will tell you if there are any hardware/software incompatibilities.
