Hi ev eryone - I know this subject has been discussed in the past but I cannot find it now.

I downloaded some free software a few days ago and I got a surprise gift along with it.  Yahoo search is now my default search engine and I did not change it.  I'm perfectly satisfied with Google search and I do not want Yahoo search.

I have gone to "manage search engines" and removed all references to Yahoo search but my browser always takes me to Yahoo for surching.

Any suggestions on how to get rid of Yahoo Search?  Thanks.

Here is a link to a similar instance. Also a thread at the end provided by Hamluis.

Hope this helps.

Good Luck
