Hello,

I have recently updated to Windows 8.1 and I have a problem.

When I want to check my e-mail or login to an account (any account) I first write my username/email and when I try to type anything on the password box nothing appears.

I can only think of 2 possibilities. One is that it may be something with Windows. The other is that my virus security software, which also has some other security options for browsing the internet, Kaspersky might be uncompatible with the new update and doing such a thing.

I looked at the Windows Settings and couldn't find anything. I also couln't find anything on the Kaspersky Settings which will solve the problem.

Thanks for any help!

Are these "accounts" web based and accessed through a web browser?

I will be more specific with mine. I can type my username in my facebook account, but I have to type the password in note, then copy and paste it in.  I can type my email into my Microsoft account, but can not type my password.  I can not type anything at all into my banking account.

It’s Kaspersky.  Go to Kaspersky, Secure Data Input and turn off Virtual Keyboard and Secure Keyboard Input. Firefox will also work.
