Hi,

I noticed about 3 months ago that I kept getting a message stating recycle bin was corrupted and would not empty.  It didn't seem to pose any issues so I left it.  Suddenly now my computer will not download anything stating due to 2033 installer error.  Now I have noticed for quite some time windows has not installed any updates and won't let me.  If you could provide any assistance that would be great!  I understand this site is busy so it maybe a while before a response.

Thank you!

If you are okay with removing everything within the Recycle Bin you could try resetting it. You can do this by going to Start and type CMD in the search box, right-click Run As Administrator. When the Command Prompt window opens type in:  rd /s /q C:\$Recycle.bin  and hit enter. (make sure to change C: to whatever your drive may be). Reboot.

Hope this resolves the issue.
