I have a favorite weather widget. Had to get a new phone. On the new phone the widget installs, but then vanishes. I can't figure the rhyme or reason for it going away. Very annoying. Anyone have any ideas as to a solution. I've tried uninstalling, re-installing, updating; turning ON network data, turning OFF network data; checking when updates can take place (wi-fi-only vs. anytime over network...

Any advice welcomed!

Also, how do I find an adequate driver/software to allow this NEW phone to talk to my OLD pc running XP Media Player that contains ALL my music files...(I think I need a better system for this one day...)

Would be most helpful with some identifying information. Such as the specific widget you're referring to? The make and model of phone and the version of Android you're running? That helps us narrow down the variable at play here.

I use Airdroid to connect my phone to my desktop. No drivers, or USB required. http://www.airdroid.com/

Dear Site Admin:  Thanks for the response. Sorry I was vague. It's a Samsung Galaxy S4 mini. Android 4.2.2. App is Intellicast. Widget is a tag along with the app.
