Was hoping someone could point me in the right direction to a link or tutorial that can teach me the best way to do a fresh install of windows 8.1 in my newly built PC. I'm using an existing 250GB SATA HDD with windows XP from the old computer. I want to wipe it clean and do the fresh install.
I've been searching the forums and tutorials for a good answer but nothing seems to be unique to my situation.
I appreciate the help and thanks

Should be the same as any other OS, just insert the disc for the new OS, make sure that the primary boot device is the DVD drive, then follow the prompts to format and reinstall.
