I hope this is the correct forum category for this question:

I am getting ready to follow "How to Build the Ultimate Boot CD for Windows" instructions. I understand that the bootable CD is created using Winxp and I do have an operating Winxp system with licensed CDs. So, creating the CD should not be a problem. I assume that XP is only used for booting the various componets of UBCD4Win. I have not found a clear statement on this site or elsewhere as to which OS's UBCD4Win can be used on for recovery/repair/backup/restore etc. Obviously, it can be used on XP. How about Vista, Win7, and Win8?

Thanks
