I am having issues with an HP Deskjet D1520 printer. For some odd reason it will not print Word documents. I have been able to print other things, such as a test page or text that I highlight off of a website. Any suggestions on how to get the Word documents to print? I have tried both Microsoft Office and Open Office with no luck.

Have you tried to update the printer drivers?

What operating system are you using?

This may be off the wall, but when you go to print Word documents, is the HP marked as the selected printer in the printer control panel ?

From what you say, the printer is obviously working, as is the connection from your computer to the printer - or nothing at all would print. Worth checking.
