I think he put something on my computer before he left me and I just want to protect everything I found from him getting it. My computer is going crazy and I have photos that I cannot tell what the are.

I was with him for 14 years we live in wv. He has been chating with one girl in California for 2 years. The other local women was one night stands he met on craigslist. He left a week ago drove all the way to California to be with this women. I just want to prove that he was faithful to me in court.

I cannot offer any help for your personal problems, but I can offer advice on Optimiser Pro. This is generally seen as 'scareware'. You download and install the free version - knowingly or unknowingly - and it then tells you you have umpteen problems and need to buy the full fat version to resolve them. Normally these problems do not exist.

I would suggest either of two things. The first is to post in the 'Am I infected' section of BC and wait for advice from one of the experts there, or you could try this method :

http://malwaretips.com/blogs/pc-optimizer-pro-virus/

In view of the fact that you say 'your computer is going crazy', I would strongly advice posting in the 'Am I infected' section of BC.

I also suggest that before you do anything else, back up your own data, ie make a copy of it on something other than your computer. What method you use depends on how much data you have. If it is only a few gigabytes, use DVDs or a memory stick, if it is more than 20 or 30 GB, use an external hard drive.

If you click on these in turn :- 'Start / Control panel / System', you will get a screen which tells you what operating system you have installed.
