I have searved the internet for step by step instructions on how to restore deleted internet history and i cannot get any help that works - or that i understand. I am also using a French computer so its difficult for me to navigate without images of control panels etc. Can anyone please help me? I tried to change the language to english and that didn't work either.

I can open the control panel but cannot find the Hidden Folders tab any where. Is there anyone who has a YouTube video or other instructions that related to Windows 8 so I can restore all the deleted history from the past month? It was deleted by my french friend for some reason and I need the pqges for my university research.

Thanks

Quiet Lisa

Hello QuietLisa, and welcome to Bleeping Computer.

See if the information on the Windows website helps you.

That only works if the person has File History turned on.  Otherwise the OP is SOL.

Not only does it need to be activated, you need a form of media with which to store the saved data.  Unfortunately this isn't going to help QuietLisa in her current situation.
