Evenin' all. Just a quick note to introduce myself. I am an MCP with 40 years electronics and computing experience. Started off as a TV Tech apprentice and got dragged along when my boss went to fix mainframes in the early 70s. "Hmmm; This is much more interesting than TV/Radio repairs", I thought to myself, and the rest is history. Looking forward to working with you all. Cheers.

Welcome to Bleeping Computer DaleCuffe! :welcome:

I can relate to you and your background, I've been in the electronics repair business since the 1970's. I loved building kits and learning how electronics worked. Things have changed since those days however, it is mostly because we're living in a disposable society today and it is actually cheaper to buy new than it is to repair anything electronics wise.

Besides computers and learning about programming a new program for such, there really isn't much left to the profession or the hobby of electronics building and repair.

Anyways, welcome aboard!

Bruce.

Many thanks Bruce. In a way, I long for the old days when we used to repair to component level. It was much more of a challenge.
