I/O error (Ox8007045D)

I am getting an I/O error when I try to back up my files to an external hard drive using Windows 7, states that 1 file did not back up.

You are following the directions for backing up to an external hard drive?


I would check Event Viewer for indications of input/output errors for the external drive.
