I have a new laptop which came with windows 8 installed, before I did anything with the laptop I installed Windows 8.1 on to it (or rather after installing 320mb of updates to be able to get the 8.1 update). Once 8.1 was installed I then installed all the other bits of software (office, Anti virus etc.). It was some time later that I realised that the laptop was using a US Keyboard and not the UK keyboard I thought it was using ( @ on shift 2 etc.). After much faffing around where it kept telling me it was using UK Keyboard (but it was not) I finally got the UK working. That was up until about a week ago, now it has reverted back to US keyboard again. Regions say I am set to UK, language say my default is English UK but I have English US installed as well but despite removing it several times keeps it reappearing in the Language preference and I am still stuck with a US keyboard layout rather than UK.

Anybody any suggestions?
