I have an Acer touch screen monitor which is great except for the speakers that suck. I've plugged in other speakers to the computer but can't seem to override the monitor speakers. Can anyone help?

:welcome: to Bleeping computer polarbear144 :)

For what its known is that a monitor speaker is independent or not a part of the OS hardware settings. So the only thing to check is the monitor's volume control rocker button or any function keys that goes with it. Hope this helps.
