i have a dell latitude d810, with 2g ram and 80g hd, i managed to format my hd i found a genuine copy of vista, which i cannot load, as it says the code is incorrect, i have the samsung that it came with so it is not, i also have a copy of tiny xp 09 revo, again i cannot load it, the first time it said a kernell was missing, the next time something else. i require your help please folks, thanking you in advance.

Hello -

The first thing in these cases is ..........

95% of the time - You can only install a Dell O/S on a Dell that has a system installed ..........

 

It is almost like installing a MAC on a Windows system (can be done but ....).
