Bluescreen upon start-up

I'm currently working on a friend-of-the-family's laptop, but it's having some serious issues. It bluescreens as soon as it tries to start windows. I tried safe mode, but encountered the same problem. I also tried a linux boot disc ( "Wary Puppy" if I recall, worked okay for me once before) but that didn't work either.


I wrote down what appeared to be the pertinent information from one of the bluescreens, if that's any help.

So, is there some method to get it to turn on, or is it completely shot?

Let's start off with what is the make and model number of this computer we are currently working on here and what version of Windows is this?

that error indicates a virus scanner called  MacAfee   VirusScan Enterprise


Is the laptop under an IT administration of a business or a educational institution?. They use Enterprise programs and they are centralize managing.
