Hi xtdg134,

First, a word of caution. HJT, if use improperly, can completely wreck your computer's software. Unless you know what you are doing, I would let the HJT team here work your log for you.

With that said... You can research what files are what by using the startup programs and the file database. Both are good resources. You can also check out WinTasks Process Library. Finally, Google is your friend!

Hope this helps,

rigel

Hello xtdg134, Guessing at what to do could make life miserable. If you still have a problem let an expert help you.
I would advise you to follow these instructions carefully. Line by line instructions. Then wait patiently for a reply, They are a bit busy, but you will be helped. Once you've made your post please do not change anything on your PC as that will void the info you've provided the expert to look at ..Thanks

How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
