When I start Outlook 2000, I receive between 80 and 100 email messages that are "Delivery Status Notification (Failure)" messages.

None of these emails have never been sent from me

It seems that someone is faking the "from:" part of the email using my email address.

I don't think my account has been compromised, as none of the emails are leaving my mailbox, only being returned undelivered

How do I determine what is causing this and what do I do to resolve this problem?

Hi -

Several chances of what it is ...... but I had the same a few weeks ago.

It is a pain but .... Change your password each day for 3 days and be sure they are secure passwords

Anything like "( Hello Mommy )" is a useless password.

It must be a mix of numbers, lower and upper case letters, and never spell a word or similar link -

It should be like ( u5bTkiH23aRleY ) ...... so it means nothing, at least 10 characters long (minimum), and you can save it in notepad or wordpad documents.

Do this, with new passwords, for 2 or 3 days and it should be gone -

Thank You -

From the crew at B.C. - Thank You -

Nice to know it worked so quickly ...........

I would still do one more password reset after another 24 hours (just to be sure)

Please, always pop back in -
