I have a large library of vhs tapes - movies we bought over the years.  Later, we started with the dvd movies.  What I want to do for a winter project is transfer these movies to iTunes so we can watch them on AppleTV or iPad.  These movies are bought and paid for.

Roxio has capture device and software for VHS to DVD but nowhere does it say how it handles copyright issues. There is no telephone number I can see where I could call Roxio and ask about the copyright problem.

I've downloaded a number of DVD rippers that takes care of the copyright but just for DVD's.

What should I do?  Any suggestions?
