Hello,

My computer has been slow so I was was browsing forum topics for answers. I came across this post:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/514101/not-sure-if-infected-but-comp-is-suddenly-slow-and-internet-spotty/

I ran the utilities mentioned in that post. Everything came out fine, except after running minitoolbox there are a number of installed programs I don't recognize. I went into Add/Remove programs and they are not listed. In addition, I can't find them when I search for them on this site's Uninstall List tab.

Here are the programs:

Acrobat.com (Version: 1.6.65)
Active Disk

DocProc (Version: 4.5.0.0)

Connect (Version: 1.0.0.1)

Fast Browser Search (My Tattoons) (Version: 2.0)

Fax (Version: 47.0.1.000)

MSVCRT (Version: 14.0.1468.721)

ProductContext (Version: 47.0.1.000)

QFolder (Version: 1.00.0000)

Readme (Version: 47.0.1.000)

Unload (Version: 4.5.0)
WebFldrs XP (Version: 9.50.7523)

If these should be deleted it'd be great if you could provide tips on how to do so.

Minitoolbox revealed the following components that I believe are related to an installation of a program called Creative Projects. I can't get rid of this application! It's not in add/remove programs. Any advice on how uninstall or a delete an application you can't find is appreciated.

cp_dwShrek2Albums1 (Version: 45.4.157.000)
cp_dwShrek2Cards1 (Version: 45.4.157.000)
CreativeProjects (Version: 45.4.157.000)
CreativeProjectsTemplates (Version: 45.4.157.000)
CueTour (Version: 45.4.157.000)

cp_dwShrek2Albums1 (Version: 45.4.157.000)
cp_dwShrek2Cards1 (Version: 45.4.157.000)
CreativeProjects (Version: 45.4.157.000)
CreativeProjectsTemplates (Version: 45.4.157.000)
CueTour (Version: 45.4.157.000)

InstantShare (Version: 45.4.157.000)

TrayApp (Version: 45.4.157.000)

WebReg (Version: 45.4.157.000)

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi fit155,

Most of these programs are probably registry leftovers from programs once installed. I'd imagine they aren't doing any harm as such, and the best way to try to uninstall the program is probably by reinstalling it and using an uninstaller like Revo Unistaller (install the free version if you want to do this).

As for the slowness, when does this occur and during what?
