Hi everyone.

I did a Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit scan yesterday just to take precaution, I expected it to find nothing. But after the scan finished , it found 3 registry items. I did not want to take action yet so I did not press the "clean" option. But when I tried to open other programs, they all would not open. The ones that did not open had an error message window , which I wanted to take a screenshot of and paste it in Paint, but Paint opened all messed up and was not able to paste the image. I closed the MAlwarebytes Anti-Rootkit program and my screen froze, so I manually restarted the computer. When I restarted, my computer(probably its fan) started making a loud noise that lasted about 4 minutes. I am now able to use the computer normally after the restart but what should I do with these 3 items?

For more information, in case it's relevant, I did do a Windows update yesterday before I did the rootkit scan. Also a few days ago for some reason my temp folder was filled with thousands of files starting with a "SSU" and then different numbers, one specifically was "SSU1A94.tmp."

  • This time click on the Clean button.
  • Press OK when asked to close all programs and follow the onscreen prompts.
  • Press OK again to allow AdwCleaner to restart the computer and complete the removal process.
  • After rebooting, a logfile report (AdwCleaner[S#].txt) will open automatically (where the largest value of # represents the most recent report).
  • Copy and paste the contents of that logfile in your next reply.
  • A copy of that logfile will also be saved in the C:\AdwCleaner folder.
  • .

The MBAR files can be quarantined.. Something had changed them.

Other than that it looks pretty good now.

How do I go about quarantining the Mbar files? There's no option to do so. So should I just leave those files as is, or should I do a Mbar scan again and press "cleanup" this time?

This time it found 6 items, and froze once again when I pressed cleanup.

When trying to open other programs during this freeze, the window pop up says "Not enough quota is available to process this command."

The drive is really full and quite small.
Drive c: () (Fixed) (Total:37.26 GB) (Free:3.91 GB) NTFS

Are there things you can delete? I don't see much installed.

Did this fill up suddenly?
