Hi, I see these messages too many times a day, what is causing it? Firefox crashes even in safe mode. Thanks.

A lot of variables can make up browser crashes. Is there a particular event when browsing that this occurs?

There's no definite pattern, it happens randomly, but most  crashes occur with opening multiple tabs. Maybe it has something to do with flash - I browse sites that use a lot of flash and sometimes YouTube videos display a "plugin crashed" message.

Download MiniToolBox and run the program. Select
List Last 10 Event Viewers, List Installed Programs and List Users, Partitions and Memory Size then click Go.
A notepad will open then copy-paste the report on your next reply.

We need to isolate the problem as 2 browser crashes did not reflect on event viewer log although different and multiple program crashes most probably related to your issue. Follow the instruction in order as much as possible.

:step1: Please remove AVG completely http://www.avg.com/us-en/utilities

The antivirus can be reinstalled or replaced later.

:step2: Uninstall/Update codec and or out dated versions on Add or Remove Programs.

:step3: Remove VLC and update to the latest version. You can also click on the update option on Help menu by opening VLC media software.

:step4: Run chkdsk or Windows utility tool (How to run Chkdsk from My Computer or from Windows Explorer) and post the result http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315265#method1

:step5: Remove Chrome first then launch Firefox and see if there are still flash crashes. If yes, please clear your cache files using Ccleaner.

a.Try clearing your cache files : Free Ccleaner
Ignore the Registry feature of Ccleaner as it is not recommended or needed.

      b. Remove and reinstall Flash Plugins latest version.

Please post back of the results.

Reinstalled the latest version. The first thing I saw after opening the browser was the crash dialog.

Nope, sorry. Done everything, except uninstalling the update, because I didn't install one. Still crashes.

I'm out of ideas, sorry. The only suggestion to take most likely is to repair or clean install path of your windows partition system. Although it would keep everything on using the repair windows mode, please create a backup of everything externally as a safety precaution.
