I'm having problems trying to connect to the Fileziller server, currently I'm trying to connect with the Fileziller server interface using the following -

I'm sure that this worked before? Just putting my Admin password into that field than it connected?

However I just get errors

I Kind of set a profile up earlier on a different computer on the LAN I'm using, and within that computer (Computer 1) I was able to access the folder, and to upload a file to that folder from within Fileziller.

However (with Fileziller running on the mentioned computer) I can't access this profile from MY laptop (Computer 2) by using the IP Address from Computer 1 and putting it into the Fileziller client on Computer 2 with the Username and Password.

I'm not sure where to start with this,

Cheers

The admin password is the useraccount you create with filezilla, has nothign todo with Windows its the FTP username/passwd you create within FileZilla mate.

I also use this for all the printers on my domain for Scan to Desktop.

Should I just uninstall and reinstall it?

Ah cool, I'll do that now then!

I can test this stuff out using two computers on the same LAN can't I?

This is the first thing that I see after uninstalling and reinstalling FileZiller :

So I've put my admin password into that field, and now the server interface say's Logged On

Do I just go Edit > Users and create an account from there?

Sooo... I added a user without a password (that's probably a big no no...) and added a folder to that user.

I then went onto my other computer, signed into FileZiller Client with the user name, IPv4 address, Port 21 (not sure why port 21 but I've been told) and the folders contents have come up in the right hand side of the window. Although it doesn't actually say the main folders name anywhere, it just has the contents of it on the right... Maybe this is because there's only one folder shared with this user?

Where are the user accounts stored? Are they locally on the computer that they were set up? Are they (In some way) tied to that computer? If I remove the User I created from the FileZiller Server Interface would it still be in the ethers somewhere, and someone else be able to access it through the name / password?

cheers!
