Recently, I have been struggling to play any games as my memory usage is always about 99% used. I have 8GB of RAM, and the highest thing only using a few MB's.

A better way of understanding what possibly can create a memory leak is using the Details tab of Windows 8 Task Manager or the integrated in the system Performance Monitor. For best acknowledgment of how the things are going at the current moment, I suggest posting a screenshot from set down Process Explorer with Private Bytes tab enabled.
