I just did a wipe back to Windows on my old computer and can't figure out how to restore bookmarks now.  I saved  a file called bookmarks-2013-11-09_16.json which is now sitting on my desktop.  is there a simple way to reinstall this on Firefox?  Thank you.

Have you tried to import the bookmarks through Firefox?

Click on bookmarks , choose show all bookmarks and choose import

Thanks. It doesn't seem to work for me. I'll keep poking around. :scratchhead:

You may need to do a clean uninstall of Firefox and reinstall.

I recall one other member who had the same problem with getting the bookmarks. After many attempts that was

the solution....a reinstall after a clean uninstall..that means removing your Firefox profile after uninstalling using the Add/ Remove program.

The easiest way after uninstalling Firefox to find and delete the remnants including your Firefox profile is do a search using the search

box in the Start menu. Search for Mozilla and Firefox then send the files to the Recycle Bin/ delete.
