Hello All, I was wondering where I could get a safe free download to add a start button to window 8. Thanks in advance for your help.

You can also update to Windows 8.1 which has official Start button from Microsoft :)

There is also Start8 from Stardock Software.  It comes with Metromix as a add-on, if you wish to run Metro apps in a windowed interface.  Both are $5 a piece.
