Hi All,

I am looking to install a second battery for my HP Elitebook 8440p, running Windows 7.

However, I have come across 2 barriers, I was wondering if someone could provide some of their wisdom.

1) Where can I find such a battery?

I have not yet come across a single site that sells secondary batteries for this machine - is it possible they are not even made any more? I could be making an assumption that a secondary battery is slightly smaller and of a different shape to the main one too, so perhaps I may have already come across one.

2) How simple is it to install for someone with limited expertise of taking computers apart?

Would it be safest to give this task to a tech guy at work or is it really as simple as undoing a few screws and slotting it in?

Thanks in advance for any guidance you can give.
