Hey all,

I'm having trouble accessing certain sites like facebook, twitter and youtube but only these sites. I am able to load all other websites without a problem but when i try to access facebook it times out and says it's taking too long to respond.

i use firefox so i thought maybe it was a problem with the plugins but i can't access any of those sites on chrome either. I'm using windows 7.

Last night i ran a full scan with malware bytes and it "removed" some threats after restarting my computer and i was able to access facebook briefly! Today, i tried going on youtube and facebook and it didn't work again so i suspect it may be malware?

Any help would be appreciated!

P.S I also have AVG and Spybot search and destroy installed.

I did a system restore but i still can't access the websites.

I did another scan before going to sleep last night and this morning i was able to access facebook and youtube (but not twitter). Later in the day, it stopped working again.

I'm not sure if this means anything, but i tried "pinging" the websites i couldn't access in the command console and it says "Request timed out" while i get a reply for sites i am able to visit like google.
