Running FireFox 24.0 on a Lenovo T400 with Windows XP Pro. If I attempt to execute a link that has to do with Java (example: www.shockwave.com/gamelanding/jigsawpuzzles.jsp#) nothing happens. No error mesage; just appears to ignore the click! I can execute other, non-Java links but any link with "jsp" in it will not execute. A further note: After attempting to execute a "Java" link, if the browser is closed it will not open again until the system is booted.

I have re-installed Firefox and anti-virus software (Symantic End-Point Protection). Problem occurs with or without the Firewall active.
