Hello, please perform next steps in exactly the same way as I describe without missing any step!

* Download Killbox.
Click killbox.exe.
In the menu on top, choose tools > Delete Temp files and click Delete selected Temp files below.
Then in the main window in killbox, Select the option "Delete on reboot".
Click the button: All Files (!important!)
Now it should flash green.

Now copy the next bold part:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\nvsvcd.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system\smss.exe

Open 'file' in the killboxmenu on top and choose Paste from clipboard

Then press the button that looks like a red circle with a white X in it.
Killbox will tell you that all listed files will be removed on next reboot and asks if you would like to Reboot now, click YES
If you don't get that message, reboot manually.

Your computer should reboot now.

After reboot,

* Start HijackThis, close all open windows leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following:

O2 - BHO: Microsoft Configuration - {40205287-E793-41AC-B95C-D8D064BA33CA} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\mscfg.dll (file missing)
O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {BA52B914-B692-46c4-B683-905236F6F655} - (no file)
O3 - Toolbar: &Barra Mensajería Web - {3F5A62E2-51F2-11D3-A075-CC7364CAE42A} - C:\ARCHIV~1\MENSAJ~1\MensaBar.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [.nvsvc] C:\WINDOWS\system\smss.exe /w
O23 - Service: Windows Log - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\system32\nvsvcd.exe

* Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.
Make sure your Internet Explorer is closed when you click Fix Checked!

Reboot once again.

Delete next folder:

C:\Archivos de programa\Mensajería Web

* Perform an onlinescan with panda: (please use this scanner instead of any other scanner!)
Panda Online
- Once you are on the Panda site click the Scan your PC button
- A new window will open...click the Check Now button
- Enter your Country
- Enter your State/Province
- Enter your e-mail address and click send
- Select either Home User or Company
- Click the big Scan Now button
- If it wants to install an ActiveX component allow it
- It will start downloading the files it requires for the scan (Note: It may take a couple of minutes)
- When download is complete, click on Local Disks to start the scan
- When the scan completes, if anything malicious is detected, click the See Report button, then Save Report and save it to a convenient location.
Post the contents of the Panda scan report together with a new hijackthislog.

Hello,

delete those cookies that were found.

Your hijackthislog looks clean again.

Spyware doctor says that I have the IRCBOT.fp trojan, should I worry?

Can you tell me where Spyware doctor found this (what filename and in which folder present)? And if it was able to clean it?

How are things running now?

I must say that now the behaviour of my PC is absolutely normal, I do not see the security center shutting down itself, no slow running, etc.

Here is what Spyware says:

As I do not have a licensed version, I only can see what it is. I do not know if it can repair.

I do not know how to annex images here, because I did Alt+Print Screen

Spyware Doctor says :

Backdoor trojan.IRCBot.FP (descr. link: http://www.pctools.com/mrc/infections/id/B...oor.IRCBot.FP/)

And gives me the following data:

Registry:

HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Windows Log
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Windows Log##
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Windows Log##Type
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Windows Log##Start
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Windows Log##Error Control
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Windows Log##Display Name
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Windows Log##Object Name
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Windows Log\Security
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Windows Log\Security##
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Windows Log\Security##Security
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Windows Log##Object Name
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Windows Log\Enum
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Windows Log\Enum##
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Windows Log\Enum##0
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Windows Log\Enum##Count
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Windows Log\Enum##NetInstance
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run##nvsvc

The other alert: CWS(link http://www.pctools.com/mrc/infections/id/CWS/)

Says:

Internet Explorer Settings:

HKLM:Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main|Search Bar

And then a lot of references to Temporary Internet Files with Content.Ie5 strings.

Hello,

Concerning Spywaredoctor, well, you have it running in your background all the time but you don't have the licensed version, so it won't clean anything either.
So actually it's useless.

Anyway, perform next..

Go to start > run and copy and paste next command in the field:

sc delete "Windows Log"

Click ok.

Not sure why Spywaredoctor is flagging your Main|Search bar though, because in your hijackthislog it looks fine:
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://www.terra.es/
Guess Spywaredoctor sees the www.terra.es as a CWS infection. You may ignore that, because you also know there is nothing wrong with www.terra.es :flowers:
It happens quite a lot Spywaredoctor is giving false positives.

Concerning next:

And then a lot of references to Temporary Internet Files with Content.Ie5 strings.

That's easy to deal with:

* Clean your Cache and Cookies in IE:
  • Close all instances of Outlook Express and Internet Explorer
  • Go to Control Panel > Internet Options > General tab
  • Click the "Delete Cookies" button
  • Next to it, Click the "Delete Files" button
  • When prompted, place a check in: "Delete all offline content", click OK
* Clean your Cache and Cookies in Firefox (In case you also have Firefox installed):
  • Go to Tools > Options.
  • Click Privacy in the menu on the left side of the Options window.
  • Click the Clear button located to the right of each option (History, Cookies, Cache).
  • Click OK to close the Options window
Alternatively, you can clear all information stored while browsing by clicking Clear All.
A confirmation dialog box will be shown before clearing the information.
* Clean other Temporary files + Recycle bin
  • Go to start > run and type: cleanmgr and click ok.
  • Let it scan your system for files to remove.
  • Make sure Temporary Files, Temporary Internet Files, and Recycle Bin are the only things checked.
  • Press OK to remove them.
Let me know in your next reply how things are running now. Everything should be ok again though.

As a final checkup, can you also perform next please?

Download Silent Runners
Unzip it to a permanent folder.
Start SilentRunners.vbs
When your antivirus is giving an alert, do not block this. Allow the script.
Please wait until it prompts you the scan is finished!
Copy and paste the content of the txtfile you get afterwards in your next reply.

Because I see Spywaredoctor flagging next entry as well:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run##nvsvc

But we already fixed this previously in your log and it isn't present in your latest hijackthislog anymore, so not sure if these are the alerts from spywaredoctor before or after our fixes. In anyway, the silent runners log should show.

Thanks again!!

Effectively I ran Spyware after the fixes, so that lines should not be there.

I enclose what you asked me for

I see in your Silentrunners log that the entry Spyware doctor flagged is indeed still present, but as an empty string, so only a leftover:

".nvsvc" = (empty string)

I guess maybe hijackthis had problems with removing it properly, or another scanner prevented it being fixed properly.
So to get rid of let, perform next:

Open notepad and copy and paste next bold in it:
(don't forget to copy and paste REGEDIT4)

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
".nvsvc"=-

Save this as fix.reg Choose to save as *all files and place it on your desktop.
It should look like this: Posted Image
Doubleclick on it and when it asks you if you want to merge the contents to the registry, click yes/ok.

In case any scanner (spyware doctor or Spysweeper) is giving an alert after you created and used above regfix, allow the changes and don't let the scanners block it again. Because these realtime scanners can prevent the changes you make as well... and I guess that's what happened previously.

Scan afterwards again with Spywaredoctor and let me know if it still finds these entries. Ignore the cookies etc that were found. The main important thing is that next entries should be gone:

Did it all and it is perfect now!!!!

No signs or traces, nothing in Spyware!!!!

You are unbelievable.

I can not imagine how you have got all that knowledge.

Can you believe I am paying an antivirus and no response or solution in four days.

I was desperate, thinking that my PC was a swimming pool for all the world hackers.

Thanks to you, now I am calm, and that is priceless. You dedicate your time to people's problem, and that is great, I am really moved.

I'll make a donation, congratulations, best regards

Gracias y muy buena suerte desde España!!

Glad I could help.

To keep this clean in the future, I would suggest the following things:

Install Spywareblaster
SpywareBlaster doesn`t scan and clean for so-called spyware, but prevents it from being installed in the first place. It blocks the popular spyware ActiveX controls, and also prevents the installation of any of them via a webpage.

* Avoid illegal sites, because that's where most malware is present.
* Don't click on links inside popups.
* Don't click on links in spam messages claiming to offer anti-spyware software; because most of these so called removers ARE spyware.
* Download free software only from sites you know and trust. Because a lot of free software can bundle other software, including spyware.

Let your antispywarescanner(s) scan frequently and don't forget to update before.

And I do suggest you perform an online virusscan once in a while. (Housecall and/or Bitdefender). Because what one virusscanner can't find another one maybe can.
Also make sure that your virusscanner, the one that is installed on your system is always up to date!
