Made a topic last night that I can no longer find but was told to download Kaspersky 10 to a disk and boot from that. I come on today to find the account (Told me I could log on through facebook) is no longer available and the topic is gone.. Victim of a mitm? Anyway I had to make a new account and find this really odd but I would like to get this ransomware issue taken care of.
While on graphic program it's not letting me use a mouse only my keyboard so I can't even access the programs.

With this member name at this site, this is the only topic that has been made by you. Did you possibly post at another site and get that suggestion? Have you registered and posted under a different user name here? Those are the only two possible thoughts I can come up with where what you describe could have happened?

It gave me the option to isign in with my facebook so I did with the username of dbriem. I tried to see if I could recover password using the username however it tells me it's invalid. The post is gone, history is wiped and I forget the name of the person "helping" me. It was bleepingcomputer.com however I don't know if it was the true site..

You won't find it.. It had me sign on with facebook which I don't even think is an actual option here.. Plus my facebook is the same email that I used to create this account today.. There's no confirmation emails about it in my email.. I think i may have someone messing around with redirects and what information I see on the internet because that seems the like the only explanation right now.

Anyway if I could get assistance in either removing the ransomware or if I just need to reformat..

It's on an old computer running Win XP. I can't boot from USB (Doesn't give me option) and KAspersky 10 on the graphics version doesn't allow me to use my mouse (USB) but from the ps/2 keyboard I can somewhat navigate.. to an extent. Safemode doesn't work (just restarts) and neither does Last Known Good Config.

After doing the above, it would be helpful if you replied back in this thread with a link to the new topic so we can closed this one.

You did not follow the instructions in the Malware Removal and Log Section Preparation Guide starting at Step 6.
  • If you cannot complete a step, then skip it and continue with the next.
  • In Step 6 there are instructions for downloading and running DDS which will create two logs.
Were you not able to run DDS and obtain a log? If so, please edit your topic and say you were unable to create the logs, and describe what happened when you tried to create them.

Now that your new topic is posted, you should NOT make further changes to your computer (install/uninstall programs, use special fix tools, delete files, edit the registry, etc) unless advised by a Malware Response Team member...nor should you continue to ask for help elsewhere. Doing so can result in system changes. Further, any modifications you make on your own may cause confusion for the member assisting you and could complicate the malware removal process or make things worst which would extend the time it takes to clean your computer.

From this point on the Malware Response Team should be the only members that you take advice from, until they have verified your log as clean.

Please be patient. It may take several days to get a response because the Malware Response Team members are very busy working logs posted before yours. They are volunteers who will help you out as soon as possible. Once you have posted your log and are waiting, please DO NOT "bump" your post or make another reply until it has been responded to by a member of the Malware Response Team. Generally the staff checks the forum for postings that have 0 replies as this makes it easier for them to identify those who have not been helped. If you post another response there will be 1 reply. A team member, looking for a new log to work may assume another Malware Response Team member is already assisting you and not open the thread to respond.

If HelpBot replies to your topic, please follow Step One and CLICK the link so it will report your topic to the team members.

To avoid confusion, I am closing this topic.
